Susan B. Pressley

Mrs. Pressley was born May 5, 1948 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Henry Levi Brown and Mable Grace Sprayberry. She worked for Exxon Mobil as a Traffic Coordinator for many years. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Dean Watts.

Survivors include her husband, Riley Pressley; daughters, Tammy (Lee) Earnest and Tina (Billy) Harrington; a son, Travis Pressley, all of LaGrange; grandchildren, Brian (Sasha) Pruitt, Brandon Pruitt, Cody (Christin) Pruitt, Ashley Pressley, Chasity Pressley, Lexus Harrington, Kelsey Pressley, and Kylie Pressley; great-grandchildren, Krista Pruitt, Gracie and Paislie Pruitt, and Trenton Carver; sisters, Patricia (Billy) Adkins and Cynthia (Charles) Prescott; brothers, Rev. Arthur J. (Sharon) Hicks, Ted (Sharon) Alford, and Phillip Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Jimmy McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.

The family will gather at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday to receive friends.
