Mrs. May was born February 27, 1939 in Troy, AL, daughter of the late John D. Little and Jeffie Lee Norris Little. She retired from the Troup County School System, after many faithful years of service in the Mountville Elementary Cafeteria. Mrs. May was of the Baptist faith and loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean May; brothers, John D. Little Jr, Fredrick Little, and Bobby Little; sister, Betty Redman.
Survivors include her loving husband, James C. May; daughter, Janice Munzert (John); sons, Tony J. May, Bobby J. May (Jeanine), Wendall Neal May (Cathy), Kenneth N. May (fiancé, Felicia) and Gary P. May (fiancé, Tracey); several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sisters, Judy Bailey and Sara Stephens (Doug); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Graveside Service will be Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 1:00pm CST (2:00pm EST) in the Antioch Cemetery in the Shellhorn Community, Troy, AL with Dr. Malone Chandler officiating. The family will receive friends at graveside prior to the service.
