Savannah Lauren Jones

Savannah was born October 1, 1998 in Columbus, daughter of Joseph Warren Jones, Jr. and Laura Hogg Jones. She was a member of Southcrest Church. Savannah was a sophomore at LaGrange Academy and was active with the BETA Club, TNT, and was a cheerleader. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joe and Mildred Jones of Greenville, uncle, Mark C. Smith, and a cousin, Jeffrey Jones.

Survivors in addition to her parents, Joe and Laura Jones of Greenville, GA, include her maternal grandmother, Patricia Hogg; maternal grandfather, Alfred Hogg; several aunts and uncles, Matthew Hogg, Rayburn and Gisela Jones, Linda Smith, Ralph and Sandra Jones, and Sandra G. Jones; numerous cousins; and her 10th grade class at LaGrange Academy.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at First Baptist Church on the Square, LaGrange, GA with Reverend Pete Shoger and Reverend Jonathan Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, GA. The gathering of family and friends will be Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted but the family respectfully asks that contributions may be made to LaGrange Academy in memory of Savannah Lauren Jones.
