Mrs. Arrington was born August 24, 1944 in Jackson, GA, daughter of the late Hovus Andrew Clark and Vera Lucile Kennemer Cloud. She was a member of Baptist Tabernacle Church and was a Social Worker for many years and retired from Heard County Department of Family and Children Services. Carol enjoyed cooking for her family and doing counted cross-stitching. She loved her family and reading British mysteries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Donald Arrington; brothers, James Payne and Bill Payne; and a special friend, Louise Paseur Baena.
Survivors include son, John Clark Copeland; daughters, Laura Lee Copeland, Valerie (Mike) McDaniel, Audra (Blake) Dean, Lindsey Williams, and Lesley Arrington; grandchildren, Jordan (Andrew) Pye, TJ Allen, Grant McDaniel, Maryana Dean, Grant Dean, Caden Williams, Collin Williams, Marlee Cofield, and Maycee Cofield; great grandchildren, Addisyn Pye, Easton Pye, and Laityn Pye; brother-in-law, Ronnie Arrington; sister-in-law, Shady Arrington; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 11:00am Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Baptist Tabernacle Church with Rev. Jimmy McMillian officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time at the church. Interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens. The family will be at her home at 103 Ashford Circle, LaGrange, GA 30240
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Carol.
