Mr. Kagey was born March 5, 1932 in Mount Jackson, VA, son of the late Melvin Lee Kagey and Beulah May Hansburger Kagey. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Seaford, DE. he was a volunteer for Blades Fire Department and served as President of Blades Volunteer Fire Department and also a volunteer for the City of Seaford Ambulance Drivers.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Kagey of LaGrange, GA; children, Sandra (Bill) Brown of Columbus, GA, Kathy (Bob) Jones of Franklin, GA, Ken (Sherrie) Kagey of Franklin, GA and Robert (Barbara) Kagey of Blades, DE; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Carol Ann Wilkie of Greenwood, DE.
The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00am until 12:00pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel and the Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
