Peggy A. Boatwright

Peggy A. Boatwright, age 84, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Hospice LaGrange. She was born in Birmingham, AL on January 30, 1931, to the late Dennis Denver Dagnan and Annie Bailey Dagnan. Mrs. Boatwright was a faithful member of First Baptist Church on the Square, LaGrange, GA. She was an accountant with J.K. Boatwright and Company until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.K. Boatwright, Jr. and three sisters, Lee Holt, Grayce Hayes and Marie Moore.

Survivors include her daughter, Georgia Flowers (Glenn Hicks); son, Britt (Kristy) Flowers; grandsons, Christopher Herring, Trevor Flowers, Jared Flowers, and Isaiah Flowers; great granddaughter, Skylar Herring; sister, Linda (John) Lucas; and relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 10:00 am prior to 11:00 am Funeral Service in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church on the Square with Dr. Paul Baxter, Reverend Paul Blair and Pastor Cade Farris officiating. A private family burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Rd., LaGrange, GA 30240 or to a charity of your choice.
