Mrs. Patricia Ann Fowler passed away on September 18, 2021, at West Georgia Hospice. Mrs. Fowler was born on November 29, 1937, in Americus, Georgia, to the late Daisy Ellen and Thomas Cindrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. Delma Fowler, her son, David A. Fowler, and her twelve brothers and sisters.
Ann graduated from Troup High School, where she was voted “Neatest Girl” in her senior class. Early in her career, Ann was employed at LaGrange College, Callaway Mills, and Ingram Jewelers. She retired from the Troup County School System, where she worked as a secretary at LaGrange Boy’s Junior High and Gardner Newman Middle School. After her retirement, Ann thoroughly enjoyed working for Houze and Associates as a Benefits Counselor.
Mrs. Fowler was a member of the Wisteria Garden Club at LaGrange College for a number of years. Ann was also a member of First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange, where she served as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher, and member of the Chancel Guild. Ann loved arranging flowers for the many holidays and special occasions at the church, as well as for family and friends. Her talents were admired and appreciated by many.
Ann loved being a Grandmommy, Nana, and GG to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family birthdays and celebrations were an important part of her life, and her deviled eggs and homemade potato salad were always on the menu.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Alan Trainer; grandchildren, Lauren Mosley (Paul), Dorothy Fowler (James), Thomas Trainer (Brooke), and Ann Moon (Christian). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Thomas, Henry, and Julianna; a daughter-in-law, Betsy Fowler Johnston; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and special cousins, Jodi, Joe, Hunter, and Hayley Brazell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange, with the Reverends James Goodlet and Jan Stewart Tolbert officiating. A private family burial will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
Flowers will be accepted, but those who desire may make contributions to the Chancel Guild at First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange in memory of Mrs. Patricia Ann Fowler.
