Marcus was born July 18, 1959 in LaGrange, GA.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen, Annette McCann Hawkins;
He is survived by his wife, Eva White Hawkins; son, John Wayne Hawkins; father, Lavelle Hawkins; siblings, Rev. Mike (Susan) Hawkins, Katherine (Brent) Bullington, Renee (Stacy) Hawkins Stevens, Jeanine (Bobby) Hawkins, step-children, Patricia Hester, Amanda White and Valerie Lee; various other nieces, nephews and relatives.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M Saturday, December 2, 2022 in at Long Cane Baptist Church in LaGrange, GA with the Rev. Danny Jeter officiating. A private family interment will be held at Wehadkee Primitive Baptist Church in Rock Mills, AL prior to the service.
