JoAnn Freeman Morgan

Joann was born in West Point, GA, to the late John Manley Freeman and Lizzie Loyette Arrington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Frank Kenneth Morgan.

Joann was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Northside Church of Christ for many years. She enjoyed being part of the Leisure Timers Group and attending the Active Life Center. She was renowned for her baking and always had an active passion for learning new cooking techniques. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling and exploring the Eastern Coast of the United States later in life.

She is survived by: her son, Steve (Lynn) Morgan; daughter, Alice (Albert) Ussery; grandchildren, Ashley Morgan Mayfield, Justin Morgan, Keith (Tina) Ussery, Amy Ussery, Buck (Emily) Ussery and Haile (Cooper) King; seven great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Shirley) Freeman and Billy Freeman.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA. Memorial services will be held immediately following the close of visitation at 3:00 PM.
