Jo Anne was born March 5, 1952 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Joseph Keith Rogers and Bobbie Elizabeth Haney Rogers. Until her retirement, she was a CARA Correspondent with Lucent Technologies. Jo Anne was a member of St. James Catholic Church in McDonough, GA. She loved spending time with friends and family and especially with her grandkids, reading, and going to the beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Newton Oglesby, Jr; son, Matthew Newton Oglesby; and brothers, Kenny Rogers and Mike Rogers.
Survivors include her son, Keith (Mandy) Oglesby; daughter, Amanda (Barry) Marston; grandchildren, Macie Marston, Braylee Marston, Isabella Oglesby, Waylon Oglesby and Presley Oglesby; several other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00am Saturday, August 27, 2022 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Rev. John Eldrige, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
