Jerry Scott

Mr. Scott was born January 22, 1953 in LaGrange, GA., son of the late William Arnold Scott, Sr. and Rachel Pauline McCormick Scott. He retired as a truck driver with Vaughan Transportation and a member of Pine View Baptist Church. Jerry loved many things especially loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Brigette Scott; daughter, Elaine Adams; son, Jerry Scott, Jr; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brantley, Maisey, Breanna, Harley, Zachary, Jessie, Jerry IV,; great grandchildren, Graylen and Brenlee; and many nieces and nephew; siblings, William (Bill) and Barbara Scott, Jr., Larry W. Scott, Sr. Peggy S. Price,; brother-in-law, Glenn Upchurch, sisters-in-law, Freda (Michael) Green, Glenis (Mark) Payne, Tammy East;. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Geneva Mabry.

Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1:00pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Joel C. Scott officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday December 19, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
