Courageous, Loving, Fierce, a traveler, chef, fake attorney (paralegal), drag queen. James lived an incredible life. A man always willing to lend a helping hand, he would give you the shirt off his back to make sure you were okay. He put everyone’s needs above his own. A truly special soul, with one goal. To have fun. Always the life of the party, he could make you laugh, cry or blush.
Kelley graduated in 2015 with a BSA in paralegal law and spent his years since then helping others with legal matters.
He is proceeded in death by his mothers Geneva “Scott” Mabry and Arlene McCloud, a special brother-in-law Mark Kraemer aka “Kraemer” and special Aunt Peggy Price aka (shortly lou).
Survived by his beloved fur babies, father James W. Kelley Sr. (Grace), his sisters Wanda Kelley Hay, Rachel Kelley Kraemer, brothers Lamar Kelley (Jamie), Edward Mabry (Jan), Roy Scott (Jo Shannon), Patrick Bowen (Kim), nieces, Whitney Kraemer, Geneva Norris, Brooke, Jordan, and Taylor Mabry, nephews, Michael Kraemer (Britney), Will Kelley, great niece, McKenleigh Kraemer and great nephews, Markus, and Karim Kraemer, and a special friend Robert Wood.
The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday evening, October 19, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00pm Thursday, October 20, 2022 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Joel Scott officiating.
