Mrs. Frances was born April 7, 1935 in Wedowee, AL to the late Dewey and Nettie Parker. She was a former member of Bethel Baptist Church and later joined Faith Baptist Church. She will be remembered as one of the best biscuit makers, serving the community for a number of years at the Sandwich Shop in downtown LaGrange. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charlie Jacks and Curtis Lawhorn; daughters, Ann George and Barbara Blakely; sons, Wayne Jacks and infant Tony Jacks.
Survivors include her daughter, Marie and Robert Folds; son, Larry and Connie Jacks; grandchildren, Holly and Jerome Barber, Billy and Erika Folds, David and Kimberly Dowling, Amanda and Chris Williams; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00pm Sunday, April 25, 2021 in the Striffler-Hamby Chapel with Rev. Bryan Geter and Rev. Danny Geter officiating. Burial will follow in Hillview East Cemetery.
