Mr. Ledford was born August 18, 1937 in LaGrange, GA., son of the late Willie Joe and Bessie Mack Ledford. He was a Warden with the Troup County Work Camp for many years until his retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Ledford Reese; Tonya and Rick Massie; two sons Tommy Ledford; Phillip and Jenny Ledford, twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Stone.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, June 16, 2016 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Lamar Truitt and S.T. Janney officiating. The Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
