Billy Jordan

Billy was born September 4, 1938. in LaGrange, GA, son of the late Julius William Jordan, Sr. and Agnes Hester Jordan Jabley. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church. Billy retired from Milliken and Company as a Design System Archivist. He enjoyed farming, tending to his cows, chickens and goats. Billy loved his family, “his girls” and his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sharon Jordan; his daughters, Jennifer Jordan Cooley (Brad), Rachel Jordan Bryant (Chris) and Sue Ellen Jordan Clay (Brett); his grandchildren, Wesley Cooley (Lilly), Jordan Bryant, Megan Cooley, Ethan Bryant, Sydney Bryant, Caroline Clay, Tucker Cooley, Ansley Bryant, Jacob Clay, and Annabeth Clay; several other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Monday, April 14, 2025, at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. The Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00pm Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Glen Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Rosemont Baptist Church Missions in memory of Billy Jordan.
