Ms. Shirey was born April 30, 1948 in Atlanta, GA. to the late Morrison James Parkerson and Nellie Bell Parkerson.
Ms. Shirey is survived by her sons, Richard (Barbara) Shirey, Andy (Helen) Shirey and Charlie (Melissa) Shirey; sister, Joyce Duke; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M Saturday, August 28, 2021 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA. The Gathering of Family and Friends will take place at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service on Saturday.
