Alex Creed

Mr. Creed was born September 8, 1958 in LaGrange, GA, son of the late Ellis Junior Creed and Nancy Lou Moon Creed. He was Baptist by faith and was employed with Milliken and Company for 49 years before retiring. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Creed and a brother, Rex Creed.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Mary Beth Creed; daughter, Dawn Fuller; son, Jack Creed, all of LaGrange GA; grandchildren, Tyler Fuller of LaGrange, GA and Hayley Atkins of Opelika, AL; sisters, Cynthia Scott and Rhonda Wingo of LaGrange, GA; brother-in-law, William Alan Nix of Bethlehem, GA; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The Celebration of Life graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 19, 2024 in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Dr. John Beyers officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be on Monday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Wesley Methodist Church, LaGrange, GA or the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Alex Bill Creed.
