He moved West after high school and then to San Diego in 1979. He loved San Diego & always said "you don't have to shovel sunshine".
He loved spending time with family & friends & loved gardening, all things wine related, cooking & entertaining, and everything having to do with his legendary, vast & very eclectic music collection. He also enjoyed trips to the local mountains & Big Bear Lake.
He was always very kind, soft spoken, loving, loyal, generous & hard working and took good care of those around him.
He worked at Kontron for 32 years & had been looking forward to his retirement. One of his first jobs in San Diego was Action Instruments which had a very big impact on his life as he met so many incredible, lifelong close friends that still get together to this day. This group of friends also led him to meeting his wife, Mindy whom he married years later.
He was taken from us all too soon, but will always be loved, remembered and in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his wife Mindy, sister Elaine Timer, brother Joseph Timer, numerous nieces & nephews , great nieces & nephew & cousins.
No services are planned at this time.
