Jeffrey Allan Smith was a brilliant, good-humored man whose presence will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Smith, loving daughter, Samarida Coleman, her husband Scott Coleman, six adoring grandchildren: Joe, Jake, Gavin, Zoe, Adalynn, & Ava, his brother Richard Smith, as well as many family and friends all over the country…
During this UCLA graduate’s 75 years of life, Jeff created lasting friendships and made exceptional connections as a professional. He also achieved many accomplishments and accolades in his life, while building a loving home for his family. He opened their doors to many holiday celebrations and gatherings throughout the years. He welcomed in Sami’s friends when they needed it the most. Being a grandpa was one of his greatest joys. The connections he made are evidenced by the outpouring of love, sympathy, and sadness over the loss of this great man. His college nickname was “The Animal” & he always used to say, “Work Hard, Play Hard”. We would like to amend his statement to how he really lived… “Work Hard, Play Hard, Love Hard," because if he loved you, he loved you with his whole heart. Jeff will be greatly missed and happily remembered.
