Carol Marie Russo

great grandmother, and friend.

Carol was born on December 5th, 1942, in Los Angeles, CA, to Bernard and Margaret Hoffman. She was the oldest of ten children. Carol married Paul Russo on July 7th, 1962, in Los Angeles, CA. They moved to San Diego, CA, where they raised their seven children.

Carol was an amazing woman. She had a huge heart and was kind and caring to everyone she met. She was always there when you needed her, offering support, wisdom, and unconditional love for anyone in need. She had a way of making everyone feel like family from the first moment you met her. Her laugh was infectious and her amazing smile would light up a room.

Carol enjoyed spending time with family, babysitting her grandkids, travelling, and researching her ancestry.

Carol leaves behind her devoted husband of 62 years, Paul; their seven children, Elizabeth (Tim), Laura (Michael), Michael (Michelle), Gregory, John (Laura), Nathanial (Maggie), and Jacob (Hazel); eighteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and eight siblings.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held on January 24th, 2025 at 11:00am, at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Lemon Grove, CA.
