Betty Jane Hensley died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on her 91st birthday: November 24, 2014. She will be joining Joe her beloved husband of 69 years, whom she meet while serving in the Marine Corps. Betty was born in Duluth, MN and grew up in Silverdale, MN. She worked for the S.D. Unified School District as an area manager for the cafeteria system. Betty is survived by her two daughters: Anita Lindsey and Donna Holman, brother-in-law Roger Hensley; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She will be interred on January 7th 2015 at 11:00 (sharp) at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, followed by an Open House at the home of Donna and Stan Holman.
