Betty Lou Duncan was born in San Diego and a graduate of San Diego High School. During WW11, Betty worked at the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company as a switchboard operator. After marrying, she was a stay at home Mom raising her three children and babysitting her nephews.
Betty worked at Polar Frozen Foods as a meat wrapper. And she worked at La Mesa/Spring Valley School District for many years as a clerk in the Child Development Center. She retired from that position.
A sweet, generous and caring person who was loved by all who knew her and described as “Everyone’s Mom”. Betty is survived by her daughters Shirley Duncan and Donna Duncan. Daughter in law Janet Duncan. Her grandchildren Amber Thompson and Trent Hall, and her two great grandchildren Macayla Thompson and Morgyn Thompson. And several nephews. Betty will be greatly missed! Betty will be interred at El Camino Cemetery in San Diego.
