Barbara Ann Jones

A long time resident, Barbara Ann, along with her husband Reginald (preceded in death, 2017), raised their family in La Mesa.

Barbara Ann was born on September 26, 1933 in Donna, TX. She moved to San Diego at the age of 10. She attended Hoover High school before starting her extensive 30+ year career with Bank of America. After her retirement from the bank she found joy as a volunteer in the maternity ward at Grossmont Hospital.

Barbara Ann had a smile that could light up a room and the ability to engage with everyone. She was a loving wife and mother whose generous spirit was warm, sincere, and captivating.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Micheline, Shayne (Greg), and Kim (Mark). Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren: Blake, Barbara, Madison, Morgan, Meghan, Angelina, Marco, and Anna-Marie.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, 11:30am, Miramar National Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, to please consider donating to San Diego Hospice.
