Terry is survived by his wife of 27 years Diana Friend; his daughter Taylor Danielle Friend and his son Dylan Christopher Friend his three sisters Kimberly Friend, Gail Friend and Stephanie Friend; his nieces April Luders, Valerie Dupree, Rachel Wahl and his nephew Travis Wahl.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Bobby Friend and Mary Friend.
He served his country for 20 years as a member of the US Coast Guard. He also served in the Gulf War.
He devoted his life to his wife and children. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and all who lives he touched.
A visitation for Terry will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A prayer service at 7:00 PM. A chapel service on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 9:00 AM. A burial will occur Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery. 2520 Inspirational Rd, Mission, Texas 78572.
