Born to Carlos & Olivia Trevino on May 8, 1965 in La Feria, TX. She lived in Dallas, TX for several years. Then returned home to La Feria.
Sylvia, was a loving, caring, sweet, funny and beautiful sister. She was very involved in our lives. As her siblings, we loved and enjoyed our relationship with her. Our lives were enriched with her presence, as she brought meaning and joy to us all.
She was very close to her nieces and nephews. She was that great aunt who would be there for all of them. Created special relationships with each of them. Touched their lives with lots of love and laughter.
She gave with all her heart, especially to all the little ones in our families. She spoiled them with love and kisses, not to mention, all the gifts and candies. They had the greatest great aunt and they will miss her tremendously.
If you knew Sylvia, she loved going to Amps, where she was always welcomed by Amparo and all her friends. She had wonderful friendships with Dalia Rivera, Amparo, Gracie, Liz, Mari, Ida, and her Godparents. Amongst so many other great friends, she missed her best friend Cris Gonzalez, (La Gata) & Ram Rivera. I am sure they hugged each other.
Sylvia was one of the Dallas Cowboys greatest fans. She bled Silver & Blue. She was a devoted fan always wearing her jersey and other Cowboys accessories rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. We can still hear her yelling, “Go Cowboys!!”
As her brothers and sisters, we will never be complete without Sylvia. As a big part of our family is gone, she will join our parents, Carlos & Olivia Trevino, may they RIP together. Love you so much sis.
Sylvia is survived by her siblings Carlos Trevino Jr., Jesse Trevino (Edith), Javier Trevino (Linda), Jaime Trevino, Connie Lozano (Mike), and Sandra Figueroa (Pablo). As well as numerous nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was always grateful that our aunt Celia Maria Salas always reached out to us.
Services will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 at City Church RGV, 2717 Mid Valley Drive, Weslaco, TX from 10AM to 3PM. Please join us in Celebrating her life at 221 Kingfisher CT, Harlingen, Texas. Angel & Felicia Lozano's home off North Bass Blvd. from 4PM - 7PM.
