Sharon was retired from Handley House in Wheeling, West Virginia. Where she was also the Co-owner of the Limestone General Store in Moundsville, West Virginia,
Sharon was an avid reader, collected Ruby Glass and cookbooks, loved to cook, spend time outside with her flowers and birds, and enjoyed making jewelry and sharing it with others.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Jackson, Father, Floyd Van Dyke, brother, Michael Van Dyke, and son-in law Brien Gibson.
She is survived by her mother, Isabelle Nash, Memphis, IN; daughter, Valerie (Darrell) Foudray, Winchester, IN (children Matthew and Liz); step-son John(April) Jackson, Franklin, TN (children William, Kate, and David); sisters, Beckie (Patrick) Hickman, Memphis, IN; Janie (Tony) Buckler, Louisville, KY; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family celebration of life will be held. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Memorial Hermann TIRR Foundation, @memorialhermann.org
