In loving memory of a remarkable man who brought warmth and skill to every corner of our lives. He found joy in tending to our family vehicles, serving as our personal auto mechanic with a passion that emanated through his work. A true jack of all trades, he seamlessly transitioned from being our pest control expert to a skilled gardener, taking pride in his ability to identify every bug and nurture the plants and trees he adored.
There was no challenge he couldn't conquer; his intelligence and talent were boundless. His enthusiasm extended to the tranquility of the arroyo, where he eagerly anticipated moments of fishing bliss. Family was at the center of his world, and he delighted in doing everything for his kids, even assuming the role of chef with a homemade restaurant where he sought their honest reviews.
His compassionate heart extended beyond family to include two adopted stray dogs, who quickly melted his resolve and became cherished companions. Despite his initial resistance, he eventually relented and cared for them with a tenderness that reflected his deep affection for all living things.
Beyond the earthly pursuits, he found fascination in the heavens, always anticipating meteor showers and sharing his passion for astronomy. A man of many talents, he even carved out his own space on the digital landscape with a YouTube channel, "Speed Demon iA," where his love for speed and adventure shone bright.
In every role he undertook, as a husband, father, mechanic, and content creator, he left an indelible mark. His photographic memory captured not just images but the essence of a life well-lived.
He is survived by his wife Carol Ann Garcia, and his two children Ian Grant (Giselle) Garcia and Taylor Ann Garcia. As well as his mother Lucinda Garcia and three siblings Richard (Angie) Garcia, Ruby Lee Garcia, and Randall (Sylvia) Garcia. He is preceded in death by his father Nicholas Garcia.
As we bid farewell, we remember him with love and gratitude for the incredible person he was—truly talented, endlessly smart, and forever in our hearts. As Rudy would say, "Godspeed."
