Roberto Badillo Jr.

Roberto was born on June 14th, 1949 in Mercedes, TX, and resided in Dilworth, Minnesota. In his mid-60s, Roberto moved back home where he resided until his passing.

Roberto was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to all who were blessed to have met him.

Roberto was the eldest of his siblings and at an early age traveled to the Midwest with his parents for harvest work. He was also a skilled carpenter, a trade he perfected alongside his father. When Roberto moved to Minnesota, he wore many hats and worked at Legal Services, Moorhead School District and at Sandford Hospital; where he later retired.

Roberto enjoyed music, singing, dancing, fishing, and sports; playing his guitar at our family gatherings was always a treat.

Roberto is predeceased by his parents; Roberto and Maria Badillo Sr. and his brothers; Raul and Rogelio Badillo.

Roberto is survived by his wife; Blanca Badillo; his son, Roberto III (Feather); his daughter, Jennifer (Hugo); his 4 brothers, Rodolfo, Ricardo, Roland and Ronald; his 4 sisters; Rosie, Rita, Rebecca and Rachel. Roberto was also a proud grandfather and leaves behind his grandkids, Brandon, Karis, Justin, Alex, Dominic, Diamanté, and Desenia along with his great grandchildren, Jayden, Jayda, Jaylee and Hazel.

A celebration of his life is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on November 8th at Heavenly Grace in La Feria, TX. Rosary will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m..
