Ozelma Hevrin flew away on October 25, 2020 to be with her Lord and Savior. She departed amid family, friends and angels. Ozelma arrived in this world November 27, 1928 near Marlow, Oklahoma. Daughter of Clyde and Dorothy Vandiver. Early in her life she relocated to Hobbs, New Mexico and Amarillo, Texas. Most of her working years was in the food industry. She enjoyed positions as manager of an NCO club in Little Rock AR, Wilbarger Dairy Queen and Expressway Dairy Queen Vernon, Texas. She married Jerry Hevrin in Vernon, TX on February 14, 1985. After retirement she enjoyed traveling mostly in the US, Mexico and Cruises in the Carribean before retiring completely in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
Departing from this earth before Ozelma were her parents, Clyde and Dorothy Vandiver; her little brother, Ralph Vandiver; her brother and sister in law, Earl and Patsy Vandiver; grand-daughter, Leanna Murner; and son in law, Mack Murner. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Hevrin; daughter, Dianna Murner; daughter, Dr Kathy Hevrin; daughter, Susan Roe; and dsughter, Linda McCue; grandson, John Murner; three great grand daughters and one great grandson; two great great grand children; two nephews, one niece and numerous great nephews and niece.
Internment will be at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
