Ofelia Martinez Camacho

She was born on September 2, 1934, in La Feria, Texas and a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her late parents Genaro and Guadalupe S. Martinez and son Genaro (Ray) Camacho, sister Esmeralda Chavez, brothers Hildo Martinez, Gelicerio Martinez and niece Bonnie Martinez-Jenkins.

Ofelia will be honored and remembered as a strong woman of faith and her hardworking beliefs and integrity. She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother and a friend to many. She was known for her beautiful smile, her quick wit humor, love of travel, passion for sewing and jewelry making and had such a positive view in life and never judgmental. She will also be known for her dedication and life member as a St. Francis Xavier Sociedad Santa Monica.

She is survived by her husband Narciso Camacho; brother Jesus Martinez and sister Lupita Martinez; nieces Nina Martinez, Melva Martinez-Huerta, Sonya Martinez-Guerra; nephews Ruben Camacho Ramirez and wife Lola Ramirez, Benny Ybanez and niece Norma Isquierdo; grandchildren Samuel Camacho, Christina Camacho and Gina Camacho, and great grandchildren Samantha Camacho, Gabriela Marie Camacho, Alejandro Ray Camacho and Diego Xavier Garcia.

Pallbearers: Sam Camacho (grandson), Alejandro Ray Camacho (great grandson), Diego Xavier Garcia(great grandson), Lorrie Michelle Ramirez(great niece) , Richard John Ramirez (great nephew), Ruben Ramirez Jr. (great nephew.

A visitation for Ofelia will be held on Monday, July 18th at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria with visitation from 1PM to 10PM and a rosary to be recited by the Francis Xavier Catholic Church Santa Monica's at 7pm. A church service will be held Tuesday, July 19th at 10:00a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 500 S. Canal Street, La Feria Texas.
