Nilda Gutierrez

Harlingen: Nilda Gutierrez, 58, entered into eternal rest at the right side of our Heavenly Father on February 2nd 2016, at Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen, Texas. Nilda was born on February 21st 1957 in Mercedes, Texas.

Nilda is preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Dolores Gutierrez. Brothers Julio Gutierrez Junior, Zenon Gutierrez, Jose George Gutierrez, and sister, Maria Elena Arroyo-Ostrowski.

She is survived by her four children Frank Alexander Keith (Jessica), Fred C Keith, Jr. (Yvette), Anin Michael Keith (Amanda) and Stephanie Olds (Brian) and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two sibling’s brother Jaime Gutierrez (Sandra) and sister Norma Cervantes (John).

Nilda was married to Fred C Keith Sr. for 32 years.

Nilda was an extraordinary woman with a most loving and caring heart. She was a dear friend to many and also looked upon as a second mother to most people. Nilda will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity. She loved taking care of her grandchildren including her grand puppies. Nilda was a woman who gave her heart wholeheartedly without designation. She loved music spending time with her friends and family and celebrating her life.

Visitation hours will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary and Chapel Service at 7:00 pm in Heavenly Grace Chapel. The family sends their warmest thanks to all who have been at our side throughout this difficult time. In the words of Nilda Gutierrez, "peace".
