Mary Shannon Lauer

Mom went to be with her Lord and Savior and Pop on December 7, 2021.

She proceeded in death by her husband James Douglas Gilday, her parents Charles and Katherine Shannon and Brothers William and Nelson Shannon.

She is survived by daughter Viki (Joe) Richardson, son Lane (Beverly) Gilday and son Kelly (Patricia) Gilday, Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Granddaughter, and her Husband George Lauer.

Mom also leaves behind many students whos lives she touched and changed while being a teacher at La Feria ISD for many years.

The family wishes to thank Hilda, Ben and Irene from Golden Palms for all their support and help while Mom was at their Facility.

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A burial will occur Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park, La Feria, Texas 78559.
