Margarita is survived by her sons Jacinto Guadalupe Cantu (Maria Lourdes.) and Jose Fortunato Cantu. (Sonia); daughters Gloria Inez Cantu; Maria Del Refugio Mejia. (Isidro); Ruth Esperanza Hernandez (Pedro); Getrudis M. Cantu and Maria Elizabeth Cantu. (Israel Villarreal). Margarita also leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren all who will miss her dearly.
Margarita was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, she was a loving mother and grandma, she attended Sun Valley Adult Day Care, she loved her plants, played bingo, arts and crafts. Margarita was a traveler, she visited The Holy Land Jerusalem with her church group before her husband passed they both enjoyed going to the local Flea Market.
The family wants to give special thanks to Ms. Maria Estela Maldonado her provider for her loving care of their mother for the last 10 years.
A visitation will occur Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A rosary to follow at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Monday, December 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 502 S Canal St., La Feria, TX 78559. A burial to follow Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park., 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.
