Justino "Kino" Garcia Escobedo

Kino would spend his time reading history and mechanics books and would travel back to the ranch yearly in August. His other favorite pastime was spending time in the beach surrounded by his family. Kino was known as the neighborhood handyman he obtained this reputation due to his ease of helping anyone that needed it.

Kino is survived by his children Daniel (Keiko); Mirna (Arturo); Angel (Jennifer); Ayde (Adan); and Jorge Justin; his siblings Socorro, Martha, Monica, Silvia, Santos and his niece Claudia.

Kino was preceded in death by his wife Maricruz Gonzalez de Garcia; his parents Meliton Garcia and Petra Escobedo; his brothers Javier Garcia and Oscar Garcia; his granddaughter Melanie Garcia.

Mr. Escobedo is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren to cherish his memory.

A visitation for Kino will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a burial at 2:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
