Jose worked for 23 years for the Hidalgo Co. Bootcamp, served 20 years in the US Army including Desert Storm, he loved hunting, fishing, he enjoyed restoring his Chevy, loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas JayHawks. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who lives he touched.
Jose is survived by his wife, Gloria V. Loya; daughter Leticia Loya; daughter Anna Lisa Loya; and daughter Laura Alvarez (Steve); mother Genoveva Loya; brother Manuel Loya (Minerva) and brother Eric Loya (Franki); grandson Brandon Roldan and grandson Vincent Alvarez.
Jose was preceded in death by; son Jose Israel Loya III, father Jose Rey Loya; in laws Pepe & Minga Villasenor.
A visitation will occur Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church, La Feria, Texas. A burial will occur Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
