Joe Samuel Diaz

He was the husband of Gilda Garcia Diaz. They shared 35 years of partnership and marriage.

Mr. Diaz was born in Robstown, Texas. He was born to Manuel and Josefina Diaz. Joe will be missed by all who knew him. Joe always had a joke to tell and his sense of humor was widely known by those he had in his life. Mr. Diaz was huge fan of NASCAR, motorcycle racing and building model airplanes. The most important thing in his life were his family and beloved dog.

Joe is survived by his wife, Gilda Garcia Diaz; one son, James Matthew (Jeanette) Belk and one daughter, Christina (George) David; three sisters; Susan Benavides, Mary B. Gonzalez, Martha (Aurelio) Diaz, one brother; Manuel S. Diaz Jr. Three grandchildren; Kaylee E. David, Jordan S. David, Christopher J. David. He also leaves behind ten nieces and nephews; Cristina Benavides, Lauren Benavides, C. Thomas (Jennifer) Gonzalez, Ben Gonzalez, Steven R. (Marisa) Gonzalez, Celina Corpus, Nicolas Corpus, Cristian Diaz, Carolyn Diaz, Catherine Diaz.

Memorial Service will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home on February 7, 2018 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm with a rosary at 2:00pm. Arrangements under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, La Feria, TX.
