Inez is survived by his wife Mary Vela; his son Armando Vela (Alyssa) of San Antonio, Tx; son, Inez Vela, Jr. (Shaila Robles) of Progreso, Tx; and only daughter Gracie Vela (Eliut) of Progreso, Tx. His mother Ninfa Vela (Crisoforo Vela+). Grandchildren; Jayden Vela, Avaree L. Vela, Mason Vela, Jeremy Munoz and Giselle Munoz. Brothers; Armando Vela (Socorro), Eloy Vela (Mary Lou), Humberto Vela (Victoria), and sisters Cristela Vela Reyes (Chendo), Dominga Torres (Simon), Nora Vela, Senaida Morales (Javier) and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his brother Mario Vela.
Inez was a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother and friend. He was a lifelong resident of Progreso, Tx and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Inez will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with recitation of the Holy rosary at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 10:00 am, at Heavenly Grace Royal Palm Chapel, followed by burial at 11:00 am at Heavenly Grace Funeral Memorial Park.
