To my big brother Gilbert. It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that I write this. When I think of all the memories I have of you the one that immediately comes to mind is--(dare I say it?) your tendency to be a little bossy but I tell you what, what i would give right now to hear your voice. I know u did it out of love for us all.
      Another memory is the "day" you tried to teach me how to drive a stick shift. And I quote " This is first, second, third, fourth and fifth. And yeah reverse. Ok u are on your own. " Who knew it could be so easy?? Rrriight.  I can still see u shaking your head.
     But when things get to be too much for me  I know the promises that are in the Bible  will help me get through.   I hope these scriptures will bring u comfort as well....John 5:28&29 talks about those in the memorial tombs hearing his voice and coming out. Acts 24:15 assures us of a resurrection and the one of the best promises in the Bible to me is Revelation 21:4 where it states death will be no more... what a wonderful thing never having to say goodbye to a loved one. Dear brother I know u r in Jehovah's memory and that brings me some relief from my sadness. Till we meet again big brother. Will love and miss u till the day I die.
 P.S.  OK  Gilbert u win I can still hear u bossing me around in my head. 🥰

Gilbert, you had an odd way of showing your love.   But I knew you cared my brother. I remember one day I came home from school and you and mom had gotten me a green car that looked odd and broke down , but it sure took me places.  I also remember you had bought a new trans am car and  I ruined your door, smashed it all in, and you didn’t get mad , you just said “are you ok baby?”. I can’t wait to see you in paradise.  When you tell me ; Isaiah :33:24 “ no resident will say I am sick” love you and will miss you. 

I will never forget growing up together playing football with our friends pretending to be one of those famous football player like Manny Fernandez and.others. Then over the years we would sit and talk about this and that over coffee amd pan dulce at my moms.house - whether we agreed or not at the end of the day we chuckled and just went on with no grudges - ate our pan dulce and drank our coffee. I will miss you primo, but I know that you are well in Gods presence.😥
