Gilbert R Diaz Jr.

Gilbert is survived by daughter Lori Lopez; step daughter Marla Gonzalez (Luis); and step son Servando Gonzalez; brothers Gary Diaz and Gene Diaz; grandson Joel Alvarez Jr (Anel), Alejandro Stevens, Andrew Stevens and Rolando Gonzalez Jr; granddaughters Sadie Ramos, Adriana Alvarez and companion Leticia Diaz.

He was always a pleasure to be with. He loved tending to his cattle and loved western movies. He loved to travel and visit National Parks with his family.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Barbie Diaz; and his parents Gilberto Diaz and Rosa R Diaz.

A visitation for Gilbert will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A rosary to follow at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will occur Monday, March 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A burial at 2:00 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park, La Feria, TX.
