Dixie Dalana Rowell, age 72, of Rancho Viejo, Texas passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Dixie dedicated over 20 years of her career to the City of South Padre Island where she found great joy in her work. Dixie was a devoted wife, mother, and partner. For 54 Years, she stood by her husband's side, lovingly organizing and managing their lives together. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her marriage, she cherished her family. She was loved by many for her kindness, dedication and her commitment for professionalism that lead to friendship across the U.S.A.
Dixie is survived by her husband Clifford Allen Rowell, her son Allen Wade Rowell, her sisters Leigh Ellen Tollison and Lisa Larue Shepard, her niece Brittany Layne Payne and her nephew Ty Lynn Tollison.
Dixie is preceded by her parents Dalton Wade and Margie Ellen Leverett and her niece Brooke Danielle Tollison.
