Dara Leah Bauer, age 64, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 after a brief illness.
Dara graduated from Los Fresnos High School in 1976, and received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1982. She loved visiting the beach at South Padre Island and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her sister Diana Blackwell (Shawn) of Maryville, Washington. Her brother, David Bauer (Susan) of Harlingen and brother Daniel Bauer of Dallas. She will be missed by a niece and three nephews as well as many close friends.
Dara is preceded in death by her parents, William Floyd Bauer and Dorothy Bauer. As well as her grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
