Carlos Gomez Jr.

Carlos was born March 25, 1959 in San Benito, TX to Carlos and Francisca Gomez.

Carlos worked with United Launch Alliance for over 29 years, formerly General Dynamics, Lockheed-Martin, in Harlingen. He loved music, Nascar racing, and his car. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather "Papa". He was loved and cherished and will always be remembered. He served his country, serving in the U.S. Army.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Adelaida Gomez; children, Aaron S. (Alicia) Gomez, John J. (Marissa) Gomez, and Desirae (Luke Jackson) Gomez; sister, Flora (Santos) Reyna; brothers, Eddie (Linda) Gomez and Gerald (Cindy) Gomez; grandchildren, Erin Gomez, Cailyn Petitta, Luke Wyatt Jackson, Gunner Beaux Jackson, and Levi Julian Gomez; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation hours will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a Rosary @ 7 pm in Heavenly Grace Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 @ 11 am in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Heavenly Grace Memorial Park, with full military honor's.
