Brenda Jean Cummings took the final steps to her forever home on March 25, 2023. Brenda was born in Whittier, California, to Isaac Newton Ferguson and Letha Murl Buis Ferguson, the first of four children, and the only girl.
After growing up in California, Brenda and her family moved to Berryville, Arkansas where her own two girls continued to grow. Life threw many difficult things at Brenda through the years and she handled each and every one with strength, propriety, class, and a "Pollyanna" attitude. Brenda met and married her husband Jack Cummings later in her life, but their love is one to be envied by those that know them best. Marrying Jack gained Brenda four more children in love, as well as several more grandchildren, and together they shared adventures for more than 28 years.
Brenda loved life, adventure, flowers, everything "proper", her family, tacos, and margaritas. She is already incredibly missed by those who knew her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Evans, daughter in love Jamie Magnum, and both of her parents.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Jack Cummings; daughter, Cat Evans White; daughter in love, Dawn (Greg) Stover; sons in love, Terry Cummings and Chuck (Jeanie) Cummings; grandchildren, Diana (Shaun) Means, Jennifer Finch, Paxton (Gabbie) Stover, Parker Stover, Justin (Laramie) Mangum, Bobby Mangum, Hopelynn Cummings, Charlee Cummings, and Carcen Cummings; as well as many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 brothers, their spouses, numerous nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
