I can’t believe it’s been five years. Sure wish I could call my golf buddy and go play our version of golf. So much has happened in the past five years. 😢I think of you often my friend.

Remembering you infectious smile and easy laughter today and missing you my friend.  Sending my love and prayers to your family today.    

Linda...thank you for loving Andrew and welcoming him into your family. I am forever grateful to you. 

Linda and I met in the 8th grade. She reached out to me one day, introduced herself, and made it clear that she wanted to be my friend. I was very grateful. Everyone needs a good friend to help us get through junior high. She and I had sleepovers at each other's homes--talking and laughing and dreaming.

Linda and I spent one or two summers as candy stripers (Volunteers) at the old Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah. We had fun interacting with patients, running specimens to the lab, taking orders and making ice-cream cones in the snack bar, and we may or may not have played on the old elevators a time or two.

We took a community Judo class and we went on a river rafting trip. (The first time we  went to the river run we took a wrong turn and ended up hundreds of miles away from the meeting point and we drove 100 miles an hour in Linda's little Pontiac Sunbird to try and arrive on time but we missed the boat---the raft)

I was able to have these adventures (and more) and I have these memories because of Linda---because she was my friend and because she knew life was meant to be lived. In my eyes she was daring and fearless. When she wanted something or wanted to accomplish something she went after it with determination and confidence. I learned much about being brave and reaching out to life from Linda. She was very good at reaching out to people and accepting them for who they were.

Linda and I were bridesmaids at each other's weddings and I remember visiting her after the birth of she and Gene's first child, Eric. Sadly, after we both got busy with families and life, we fell out of touch. I feel the loss of that deeply because I am sure we could have shared many more adventures and I am sure she has led a very productive and eventful life. I love her. I miss her, and I know she is loved and missed by so many. I remember her big blue eyes,  her energy and drive, and many talents. My condolences to her family. She has embarked on a new adventure.
