When his service ended, Bill joined the family business, Newburn Construction.
After moving to Florida, Bill met the love of his life, Gina. Together, they raised three children before moving back to Indiana.
Bill enjoyed camping, fishing, and exercising his second amendment right! Anyone who knew him, understood his love of guns, his country, his children, and grandchildren. He taught them to be patriotic and how to take care of their family. Above all else, he loved and cared tremendously for them.
In the words of his daughter, Heather: "Step-dad: one who made the choice to love another's child as their own. One who stepped up to provide, protect, encourage, and love. You may not have given me the gift of life but you gave me the gift of you. Thank you for being the father you didn't have to be. My ONLY father. Heaven is getting an amazing person. Thank you for being my dad and my friend."
