

He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1964 and was in the Army from 1966-1969. He retired from Delco Tool and Dye. Bill found the love of his life in Marietta Eads and married her June 12, 1971.
He loved playing cards, hunting and fishing. He grew up spending hours at Silver Lake, and introduced his own children to the joys of Silver Lake. He loved animals (even cats), and his all-time favorite was Rex. He was looking forward to spending time teaching his grandchildren to fish. Bill had a huge heart and was generous to a fault. He was always helping others in need.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Marietta, their two wonderful kids Audrey N. James (Carl) and Andrew S Harrold, three beautiful grandchildren Xander, Madison and Tristan James, brother Tom (Cindy) Harrold, sister Jane Armstrong, sister in law Jill Moss (John), brother in law David Eads (Pat), brother in law Lewis Ead (Pat), nieces and nephews, Julie Laden (Gary), Jennifer Murray, Jay Armstrong. Heather Lepping (Paul), Jamie Leising (Josh), Tom Eads (Jessica), Marci Eads, Jennifer Eads, Mark Eads (Jennifer), Carissa McCleery (Tom) and cat, Ophelia.
He was preceded in death by parents MaryAnn and Durward Harrold, in laws Jack and Bonnie Eads, sister Linda Bowser and niece Jill Harrold.
Funeral Services for Bill will be Friday February 23, 2018 at 4:00pm at Ellers Mortuay Webster Chapel; 3400 South Webster Street with Nick Ryan officiating. The family will offer visiting hours between 12pm and 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please leave a donation in Bill’s honor payable to the American Heart Association.
