William "Wig" Burnette, 77, of Russiaville, Indiana passed away on December 1, 2021. He was born on April 13, 1944 in Luttrell, TN the son of Roy and Geneva (Hunter) Burnette. He was an avid horseman and loved horses. William worked at Continental Steel for 25 years and also worked as a maintenance man at Cornerstone Properties.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Janice; children, Shaun (Tonya) Burnette, Shane Burnette, Miranda (Patrick) McCleskey, Tamara (Toby) Douce, Cameron (Erika) New; grandchildren, Kasey (Matt) Deeter, Hannah McCleskey, Holly McClesky, Lucy Douce, Tori Douce, Abby Douce, Kamrynn New, Nolen New; great-grands, Braxton, Anna, Weston.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 12:00 pm until the start of funeral services at 2:00 pm. Online guestbook at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com
