Vicki Lynn Nielander, 64, of Galveston, Indiana passed away on March 16, 2023. She was born on September 17, 1958 in Kokomo, Indiana the daughter of Robert and Mary Jo (Ford) Barnett. She married Michael Nielander who survives.
She was a loving and caring nurse for 35 years, specializing in family care. She retired from Howard Regional after 28 years. She loved fishing, gardening, feeding her hummingbirds, and being at her country home. She was an avid Bigfoot enthusiast and was always on the lookout for one. Her favorite thing in life was enjoying her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Michael; children, Jason/Jessica/and Jay. Her grandchildren Gabriel, Gavin, Dawson, Colson, Wyatt, and Zaden. Great granddaughter Violet. Her brother Charlie and sisters Terri and Barbara.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Gathering will take place at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana, Friday, April 7, 2023 from 3:00 pm until the start of services at 5:00 pm.
