Stephen "Mailman Steve" Eugene Anderson

Stephen was born on March 7th, 1955 in Kokomo to his parents Glen Eugene and Nova (Fye) Anderson.

Stephen married Cindy Duncan on May 27th, 1978 in Russiaville, IN.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years Cindy, sister, children Laura (Mike Dukes) Dugan, Brent (Gabrielle) Anderson, Belinda Anderson, and Raymond (Kayla) Shelby II, two grandchildren Xander and Haila, and great nephew Zachary.

Stephen graduated from Taylor High School, class of 1973, he went on to serve in the United States Army as an Army Ranger from for nearly 13 years. Upon completion of his military service Stephen began his second career with the United States Postal Service until retiring in 2012. He enjoyed meeting new people and interacting with anyone. His great sense of humor, quick wit, and compassionate personality will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Nova.

Services will be Sunday February 18th, 2018 at 12pm with visitation from 10:00am until time of service at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel with Pastor Bill Duncan officiating. Entombment will be Monday February 19th at 11:00am at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
