Samantha Kay Depew, 56, of Galveston, Indiana passed away November 12, 2022 at her home. She was born March 24, 1966 to Duane and Nancy (Truman) Swan in Miami-Dade County, Florida. She graduated from Hayworth High School in Kokomo. She worked for General Motors in various positions for 28 years. She was a crafter and enjoyed sewing. She was an avid concert goer, listening to all kinds of music genres, and loved to be included in live audiences of popular television shows. She loved her family, grandchildren and beloved pets, although being a Grandma was her favorite. She was always spoiling her grandsons, taking them to restaurants, out to play, and shopping.
Samantha is survived by her son, Evan (Chelsie) Depew, her sister, Tina Swan, her grandmother, Evelyn Williams, grandsons, Parker and Cohen Depew, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Samantha was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Nancy.
